2002 Ride snowboards cover the beginner, the intermediate and
the advanced rider. They cover the three general categories of
terrain and they cover the wide girth and short stature, and the
other way around. They cover tiny feet but big frame, or the other
way too. The idea is to get a board of the right width and weight
so that you are more effective on the slopes. Since it has been
tested, and it does work, I recommend knowing your dimensions
minimally, and maybe having an idea of what kind of style that
you plan to engage in. However, the style is secondary for the
beginner. You'll find out as you get in to it.
